A few facts about L-Port Tuning :-

Yes we know it, and our approach is honest, straightforward & cost effective.......

The basic science of L port enclosures:-

1. The box volume has to match subwoofer Fs accurately.

2 The L port thickness & length has to make a perfect resonance air chamber to give that desired and accurate bass.

The problems :-

1. Every sound recording will need a different set up of above 2 air chambers.

2. The length of the L port is constant. (Tuning can't be changed)

3. An automatic DSP (digital signal processing) unit is required for auto bass tuning.

4. Perfect air plugs are needed to alter port characteristics.

All that comes at a considerable cost.

Our solution:-

1. A manual amplifier tuning can be better than Digital tuning. A professional AV receiver can be more cost effective here.

2 We are offering a basic enclosure design, which comes very close to most subwoofers, available in market today.

3. Use winisd for box volume tuning/calculations and compare with Fredo bass enclosure design. We are pretty sure, the calculation will not be far away from what is required.
